1. Highest Grossing Rivalry of All Time

UFC 196 was the highest grossing UFC PPV of all time. Technically UFC 100 garnered more PPV buys (1.6 million of them) than 196 (1.5 million), but the additional cost of UFC ppvs in 2016 vs 2009 means that Conor vs Nate actually made more money despite having less buys.

While the numbers aren’t in yet, Dana White said in the build up to UFC 202 that it was trending to be the biggest PPV in company history. That would make 2 shows headlined by Conor vs. Nate as being 2 of the top 3 PPVs of all time.

At that rate a 3rd bout between the two could completely flop (almost impossible) and Conor vs Nate would still be the highest grossing rivalry and highest grossing trilogy in the sport’s history.
