Fedor Emelianenko vs Hong Man Choi
It’s hard for people to realize that Fedor Emelianenko, who stood at 6-feet tall and 220 lbs. was a large man in his own right. Perhaps his propensity in fighting guys much bigger than he was offset how big an individual Emelianenko is in person.
In the video above, Emelianenko pretty much proved how much of a badass he was in his prime. Taking on the giant South Korean super heavyweight Hong Man Choi, Emelianenko would put in one of his most shocking performances to date.
Choi stood at 7’2” and close to 400 lbs. Talk about size difference. Emelianenko is a big dude, but next to Choi, he looked ordinary. Good thing MMA is about skill and technique and not just sheer size. Well most of the time anyways.
Emelianenko needed just under two minutes to make quick and easy work of Choi.
