1. Jon Jones

Shortly after Jon Jones defeated Daniel Cormier at UFC 182, he was making a public apology and checking into rehab due to a failed drug test.  The test came back positive for cocaine.

While the NSAC did not have the ability to discipline Jones, the UFC fined him $25,000.

This was not Jones’ first publicized scandal with drugs or alcohol however, as in May of 2012 Jones was charged with a DUI after crashing his Bentley into a pole.

In May of 2015, just months after testing positive for cocaine, Jones caused a collision at an intersection in Albuquerque and fled the scene.  Speculation naturally leads one to believe that Jones was fleeing the accident because he was under the influence of something and did not want to get caught.  Jones was charged with a hit-and-run, stripped of his world title and suspended until that October.
