6. Nate Diaz

Fans of the Diaz brothers are going to hate this but Nate Diaz, mainly because of his win over Conor at UFC 196, is close to being the most overrated fighter currently competing.

Diaz is only 3-3 in his last 6 fights, having lost to Benson Henderson, Josh Thomson, and Rafael Dos Anjos.  There are some rumours that the winner of the welterweight championship fight at UFC 201 between Lawler and Woodley would next face  the winner of Conor vs. Nate from UFC 202.

If those rumours turn out to be true it would be quite unfair to Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, who just defeated Rory MacDonald.  That’s the same Rory MacDonald who threw Nate Diaz around like a rag doll at UFC 129.

For Nate Diaz to even be in the welterweight title conversation considering how he has done against guys in that division previously is kind of ridiculous.
