Tony Ferguson is Ready to Fight… He’s Challenged Both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagamedov to Get Into the Octagon With Him and Go to War…

He might be going through a rough time right now, but Tony Ferguson is still a warrior. Currently riding an incredible 11-fight winning streak in the lightweight division, ‘El Cucuy’ most recently took out Anthony Pettis in a bloody back-and-forth war. Now he wants a piece of the two biggest names in the division.

Ferguson actually shares the same management as Conor McGregor but as yet to be linked to a fight with the Irishman in any meaningful way. It’s surely no wonder, because nobody wants a piece of one of the most dangerous and eccentric fighters on the entire roster.

He has been booked to fight Khabib an incredible 4 times though. It’s the fight many fans want more than anything else, and hopefully one day soon it will come to fruit.

Fighting Talk

Ferguson might have been sent messages of support by both McGregor and Khabib, but he’s clearly in no mood to get all friendly with his closest rivals. Sure, Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier are going to fight for the interim title, but we all know who the real players are at the top of the 155lb division. Ferguson tweeted:

“You were finished… Tapped out & Quit like a bitch. Now you’re stepping on my toes you false idols @TheNotoriousMMA @ParadigmSM @TeamKhabib Ready when you are Fathead. Don’t dodge me like #ufc209 Coward. No Loyalty to the game. -Real Champ Champ.”

Respect

Khabib actually had a classy response to Ferguson’s situation earlier in the week, when he was asked about it in an interview. He had nothing but good things to say about the former UFC interim champion and sent him sincere well-wishes, which has to be appreciated.

“I really didn’t want to go into details, because I myself wouldn’t want to have that sort of attention,” the UFC’s lightweight champion told RT when asked for his thoughts on Ferguson’s situation. “I can only imagine how hard it is for him.

“Especially since it’s about his family. Again, I didn’t follow it closely, I just read some things on the internet. May God give him good health and the best of luck. Sport is sport, but family is family. And let’s hope he’ll return. It’s very strange to see him away, he has an 11-fight win streak in the lightweight division. And now he’s on the sidelines.”

Teaser

According to the Dagestani Sambo expert, this is the fight that fans are most excited for in the UFC. He’s absolutely right and that is why the following words are just so evil because they tease MMA fans like nothing else does. Not okay Khabib. Not okay.

“It’s a great fight,” ‘The Eagle’ said. “It’s one of the best. Not even one of the best, it’s the most anticipated fight in the UFC.”

Oh please, can this fight just happen already? Go away, Conor McGregor. This is the real deal right here.
