2. Frankie Edgar (+620) Upsets BJ Penn UFC 112

Well, the odds-makers sure didn’t get this match-up right. Considering that Edgar has now defeated Penn handily three times in a row, I’d say they got this one wrong.

At the time BJ Penn looked like he couldn’t be beaten at lightweight however. His last two fights he had beaten Kenny Florian and Diego Sanchez, and there was little reason to believe this bout with Edgar would be any different.

Edgar was just too quick for him however. Penn couldn’t catch up to him and Edgar got in and out with his punches to earn a unanimous decision victory. He would then do the same thing at UFC 118. In 2014, Penn tried it again, but Edgar finally figured out how to finish him in the 3rd round of that bout.
