1. TJ Dillashaw (+710) Upsets Renan Barao UFC on Fox 16
Late money on this bout was on Renan Barao, as Dillashaw wasn’t that big of an underdog in the lead up. He was still a pretty big underdog, but not to the degree the closing odds had him at. Whoever those people were that placed late money on this one, they got it very wrong.
Barao had defended the title 3 times before this so confidence in him was high. Dillashaw finished the fight in the 5th round with a head kick, but he was well on his way to earning a decision victory anyway.
The rematch took place 14 months later, this time with Dillashaw favoured to win. He finished Barao via TKO in the 4th round.
