Back to Diego Sanchez. If there is one person you don’t mind being on the better end of some bad decisions it’s Diego Sanchez. The owner of the best “mean face” in all of combat sports, Sanchez never fights cautiously, often to his detriment.
But twice Sanchez has gotten his hand raised when many people feel he shouldn’t have. Such is the case with his fight against Ross Pearson at UFC Fight Night 42. The bout was held in Sanchez’s home town, which is never the most ideal environment for unbiased judging. Despite seemingly being defeated in all 3 rounds (as 1 judge scored it) 2 New Mexico State Athletic Commission judges controversially scored the bout for the hometown fighter.
