It’s not long now until the blockbuster PPV (pay-per-view) event that is headlined by Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor. UFC 194 is scheduled for December 12th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it will be a wild night.
McGregor and Aldo’s rivalry goes back over a year, and they were originally set to face off at UFC 189 this Summer. An injury to Aldo caused the fight to be postponed, but ‘The Notorious’ still fought at the event.
Defeating Chad Mendes with a riveting TKO finish, the young Irish star bagged the interim title for his hard work, making the fight with Aldo a unification bout.
With McGregor’s popularity at an all-time high, the timing is now perfect for this fight. Perhaps even better than UFC 189. His strong Irish following and sharp wit have seen ‘The Notorious One’ dominate the headlines solidly over the recent months.
But what many people tend to forget is that McGregor has left a trail of destruction in his wake throughout his career. Of course his banter and outspoken nature have helped him with his rise through the ranks, but McGregor is a talented fighter without doubt.
