Joe Rogan And The Ice Spill
If it hadn’t been for UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, the ice spill that delayed the start of the next round during a fight between Melvin Guillard and Ronys Torres at UFC 109 would perhaps have gone largely unnoticed.
However, Rogan quickly became engrossed in the comedic struggle of the UFC officials who were frantically trying to clear up the spillage and began doing a live play-by-play of the action.
“This is a disaster,” Rogan exclaimed during the haphazard clean-up operation. “Oh no, they knocked the bucket over. This is the Three Stooges. What are you freaks doing? Everybody’s booing. Now there’s even more pressure.
“Oh, they are sweeping it out,” he continued sarcastically. “That’s good…put it on the side and watch Arianny fall on her head!”
Rogan then began shouting that ice was still left behind, before finally the flustered officials finally got out and the fight was able to continue.
