Khabib Nurmagomedov Shouting At Dana White
It’s perhaps understandable that Khabib Nurmagomedov was frustrated with UFC President Dana White at UFC 219 in 2017 given that at the time he was already 24-0 in his MMA career, yet still had not been granted a title shot.
On the night Nurmagomedov was once again demonstrating why he was worthy of that opportunity as he effortlessly beat up perennial top 10 contender Edson Barboza in the co-main event.
However, not content to just let his performance do the talking for him, between rounds, Khabib began yelling at the Octagon-side White.
“I’m here three months without my family,” Khabib informed White.
“My wife was pregnant. I didn’t cry one and a half years, ‘Oh my wife’s pregnant.’ But I came here like a man because I try to stay busy. Without injury, I can smash all lightweights.”
Thankfully for ‘The Eagle,’ White did appear to be listening, as after winning by unanimous decision he was granted a title shot, going on to win the belt and to date successfully defend it twice.
