John Hernholm
Outside a bar in Johnson City, Tennessee back in 2016, a drunken man made the mistake of picking a fight with the wrong bouncer.
That bouncer was the 6ft 6″, 320lb John Hernholm, who also just happened to be a super-heavyweight MMA fighter who holds a 5-0 amateur record and is 1-0 as a pro.
“Cory, don’t do this!” one of the drunk’s friends warns him as he looks to square up with the man mountain, but the hothead has made up his mind and gets into a fighting stance.
Hernholm remained as cool as a cucumber as Cory started faking punches at him, but when he did finally load up with a big, telegraphed haymaker, the MMA fighter camly avoided the blow and countered with a single right hand that floored the troublemaker.
Hernholm then completed the drunk’s humilation by locking his arms up in a crucifix and propping himself up on one elbow in a casual, relaxed manner while Cory wriggled helplessly underneath him.
