Jon Jones vs. Frank Mir
During a global promotional tour for their upcoming UFC bouts back in 2013, Jon Jones and Frank Mir made a stopover in Russia, where they were caught on CCTV appearing to be fighting each other during a night out.
The incident happened at the Maxim bar in Moscow after a Legend FC event, and the two fighters, who were teammates at Jacksons MMA at the time, have since insisted that they were just having some fun.
The video footage shows the two former UFC champions aiming punches and kicks at each other, before Mir eventually catches a kick and is able to take Jones to the ground as others watch on from the sidelines.
They’re friends. They were playing around,” the two fighter’s manager Malki Kawa stated after the footage went viral. “If they were to fight for real I’d be looking 4 the ppv??”
