Don Frye
Tempers frayed in 2007 when a ‘No Limits Fighting: Brawl For It All’ event in California was cancelled at the last moment and the fighters and wrestlers involved in the show began arguing over who would be paying them.
At the heart of the disagreement was MMA star Don Frye, who was allegedly drunk, and Sonny Westbrook, bodyguard to Leland Chapman of the reality TV show ‘Dog: The Bounty Hunter’ who had been scheduled to fight that evening.
The two ended up brawling in a casino lobby, and video footage shows Frye appearing to knock down Sonny, who has a boxing background, but he gets quickly back to his feet.
As the fight continues Sonny then clocks Frye with a hard left hand and drops him, then follows up with ground and pound.
The two are pulled apart and Frye lgets up and tries to continue the fight, but is held back by Leland Chapman and another man.
Rumor has it that the two fought again later that night in the parking lot, though there was no video footage on that occasion to prove it and mixed reports as to whether it was true or not.
