No.2: Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier
Jon Jones took no prisoners when he stepped on stage for a pre-fight staredown with Daniel Cormier after a press conference in Las Vegas for their title clash at UFC 178.
Taking off his sunglasses, Jones went literally forehead-to-forehead with the title challenger, which provoked an angry reaction from Cormier who violently shoved him away.
Jones then looked to retaliate, throwing his title belt to the floor and shoving aside UFC employee Dave Scholer, who fell backwards into the stage set, sending it crashing down.
‘Bones’ then threw a straight left at Cormier and also uncorked a left hook as others on-stage tried to get between them.
Amid the chaos DC fell off the stage and landed on the already collapsed stage backdrop below.
Jones followed him down and began throwing ground and pound strikes, but others managed to pull the two apart and they emerged relatively unscathed from the melee.
Both fighters were later pushed with fines and community service by USADA for the brawl.
