No.1: Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov
A fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov hadn’t even been officially booked yet when the Irishman got in a jet with members of his entourage and flew all the way from Dublin to New York City to confront his rival.
McGregor had become infuriated after seeing video footage of ‘The Eagle’ accosting and then slapping his teammate Artem Lobov while surrounded by several members of his crew while at a hotel lobby during UFC 223 fight week.
In relation, McGregor and his allies hunted down Nurmagomedov following a media day in Brookyln and attacked the bus he was travelling in as it attempted to leave the venue.
The whole incident was caught on camera and showed ‘The Notorious’ throwing a steel dolly through one of the bus windows, injurying two other UFC fighters inside, while another member of his crew smashed the front window with a chair.
McGregor was yelling at his rival to come out, but Nurmagomedov was held back by officials as security tried to contain the chaotic situation until eventually the Irishman and his entourage ran to waiting vehicle outside the venue and sped off.
McGregor was later forced to turn himself into police and months later managed to escape a jail sentence when he reached a plea deal that saw him fined as well as being sentenced to community service and anger management classes.
