1. Conor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez

Conor McGregor does whatever Conor McGregor wants. You get that privilege when your last two fights with the company broke PPV records.

UFC 196 was the highest grossing PPV of all time, that is until UFC 202 came along. Both cards headlined by Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Speaking of Nate Diaz, the fight between Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor should be pretty interesting to him. Nate has said that he is not going to fight again until the 3rd fight with Conor, his thinking probably being that he makes a lot more money fighting Conor, so why bother fighting anyone else?
Well if Conor wins this fight, then the 3rd bout in the Diaz McGregor trilogy will have championship gold on the line.

Alvarez has said that it frustrates him that more opponents don’t try and take Conor down and instead try and stand and trade with him. So perhaps Alvarez has already tipped his hat on his strategy, or perhaps that is just what he wants Conor to think. A smart coach might tell Eddie to really work on his cardio and attack in the 2nd round when Conor gets tired. That tends to be a trend in Conor fights lately.
