It’s Never A Good Idea to Badmouth a KO Artist
James McSweeney is not on UFC’s radar right now, but he is best known for being a cast member of Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights in 2009.
McSweeney was the first overall pick of Rashad Evan’s team on the show and fought on the second episode against Wes Shivers. He won via majority decision. McSweeney then earned a ticket to the semi-final round by submitting teammate Matt Mitrione.
He was gunning for a big win when he stepped inside the Octagon with Roy Nelson. Because of Nelson’s flabby physique, McSweeny was oozing with confidence.
Our moms always tell us not to judge a book by its cover, but I guess McSweeney missed that memo. He badmouthed a knockout artist. Against a guy like Big Country, that’s a big no-no.
McSweeney obviously thought it was a good idea until he was TKO’d.

Dan Henderson’s KO of Bisping is still my favorite moment of all time. Especially with the extra shot to shut him up after the fact. Karmic!
pity he got his revenge….how about that?
