Barnett has won titles in Strikeforce, Pride, and UFC. He also chronically fails steroid tests.
After defeating Randy Couture to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 36 Barnett tested positive for steroids in a post-fight test and was stripped of the title. Inexplicably the UFC has never overturned is title win however, so he is still listed as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.
Barnett left to go fight in Pride after being stripped of the title. He is scheduled to face Andrei Arlovski in September.
