6.) Sokoudjou Starches Lil’ Nog
Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou was at one time billed as one of the best up and comers in the sport. That label was given to him because of the potential he showed in only his fourth professional fight. Sokoudjou won three consecutive junior national championships in Judo in his home country of Cameroon before moving to USA and winning the 2001 US Open Judo Championship. He began training with Dan Henderson and made his MMA debut in 2006.
After compiling a 2-1 record in his MMA career, Sokoudjou was pitted against the legendary Brazilian fighter, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in his PRIDE debut. Sokoudjou was a 16-1 underdog heading into this fight, but was able to upset the Lil’ Nog in less than 30 seconds.
