1. Khabib Nurmagomedov: “If Sambo was easy…”
It’s too bad MMA fans hardly ever get to see Khabib Nurmagomedov fight. He’s a fantastic fighter, arguably one of the best lightweights in the world, and really entertaining when given the chance.
At UFC FX 7 on January 19th 2013, Khabib fought in Brazil for the first time. He walked out for the weigh-ins in his team’s walkout shirt as if nothing was up. After he weighed-in however, Khabib threw on his now-classic “If Sambo was easy it would be called jiu-jitsu” t-shirt. Needless to say, Khabib is not well-liked in Brazil.
