Conor-McGregor-vs-Nate-Diaz

4. “Full-Camp Diaz”- Nate Diaz

Similar to Cain Velasquez’s nickname, many MMA fans use the nickname “Full-Camp Diaz” to refer to Nate Diaz when he’s had a full training camp.

This term came to be used after UFC 196, when Diaz made Conor McGregor tap after taking the fight on short notice. Since Conor gassed in the second round of the fight, many assumed that Nate would have the advantage in the second fight since he would have had an entire training camp. The idea was that “Full Camp Diaz” we be far too much for Conor.

Conor did gas again, and Nate did push the pace and clearly have the better cardio. But despite all that, Conor McGregor still found a way to win the fight.
