As if it wasn’t already offensive enough to Jose Aldo and his fans, the UFC’s latest t-shirt features quite an obvious error….

Remember when the Brazilian wrecking machine Jose Aldo was the UFC featherweight champion? Most hardcore fans will be able to easily recall some of the greatest moments of Aldo’s reign as champion.

That said, the casual fans will know more about Conor McGregor in his one month stint as the champ, than they will about Aldo after his 10-year title run. The reason for this? It’s all about the promotion, or lack of.

The lead up to McGregor and Aldo’s featherweight unification match at UFC 194 was chock full of high level promotion. So much in fact, that it was more attention than Aldo had garnered in his entire championship reign, and all for one event.

The McGregor effect was simply undeniable in the lead up to the December 12, 2015 PPV card, and perhaps it all proved too much for Aldo. The former champion fell by one punch knockout just 13 seconds in to the first round.

The moment will go down as one of the craziest finishes in UFC history, as McGregor’s prediction came true to the dismay of Aldo and his fans.

The stricken champion fell in the fist exchange, getting slept by a swift left hand counter as he rushed ‘The Notorious’ with his trademark hooks.

Keen to jump on the moment for some merchandising, the UFC has released a rather offensive T-shirt to commemorate the fight.
