Michael Smolik stepped into the ring, touched gloves with his opponent, and then landed one kick. That is the complete recap of this fight. Watch the entire 54 second video below.

This video has gained popularity over the past two weeks, but the details are unknown. The description is entirely in German, and translates to: “The quickest K.O. Kick in the K1 history. Michael Smolik knouckte on Stekos Fight night his opponent in 3 seconds! This kick is on a world record level.”

K-1 was once a fairly prominent kickboxing organization, but has been repeatedly sold. The most recent sale was in 2012 after one of many scandals in which the company was accused of refusing to pay fighters from a co promoted event.

GLORY purchased the rights to K-1’s entire fight library in 2013, unless they didn’t. K-1 Global has stated that it is the sole owner of all K-1 trademarks and assets, including the aforementioned video library.
