While many people relish at the chance to lay the smack down on pop superstar Justin Bieber, very few rarely ever get the chance to. Apart from his sparring partners when he boxes, the Biebs just doesn’t take a lot of punishment. So when the opportunity to lay a hit on the guy comes along, you don’t pass up.
Bieber got a taste of fiberglass last Saturday, courtesy of pro hockey player Chris Pronger. The teenage sensation played in a celebrity exhibition game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Justin Bieber is a Big Hockey Fan
Born and raised in Canada and without the natural ability to play normal sports like football or basketball, Bieber grew up playing hockey. It was evident from the moment he stepped onto the ice that he had some skill.
Watching the young guy swirling around on the ice with a hockey stick, imagining that smug look on his face. It’s not for the faint of heart. Luckily, Pronger was able to draw out a highlight when he drove Bieber to the boards in the first half.
Pronger spent 18 years as a hard-nosed defenseman in the NHL. As he pressed Bieber up against the glass, you can see Pronger really enjoyed laying it on the kid.

But Watch Him Get Slammed Right Here
To be fair however, Bieber can actually play and even scored a goal moments after the hit. The singer finished with an empty-net goal and an assist. Team Gretzky ended up defeating Team Lemieux 5-3 at the conclusion of regulation.
Alongside Bieber were NHL stars Connor McDavid and Patrick Kane as well as other celebrity hockey-lovers.
Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. responded to Bieber’s goal jokingly after the Canadian singer had scored.
“Twenty-five shots later, thank god he made it,” said Gooding. “I was shocked at how good the kid can play. He really has nice skills, and he’s a real sweet kid too.”
It is unknown if Gooding was being serious or sarcastic, but let’s leave that for fans to decide. As for Bieber, kudos to the young man who is able to breeze by life with a boatload of cash doing pretty much anything he wants. Not many people are afforded this luxury.
