4. Robbie Lawlor II
Diaz fought Lawlor at UFC 47, way back in 2004. The Stockton fighter won that barnstormer by KO. However, you could argue that this would be the ideal time for a rematch. Most people would see it as winnable for both men. Lawlor has dropped five of his last six – albeit against great opposition – and looks close to retirement.
This would be a great send-off for ‘Ruthless.’ It would also give the UFC an indication of Diaz’s level upon his return. After all, he is 37 and may not be very sharp after so long on the sidelines. Plus, they’ll both come and bang. This would be a great fight between two warriors.
