Tim Kennedy is an opinionated man, and if he can beat Kelvin Gastelum on Saturday night he will have a live microphone.
Kennedy will be the second fighter associated with the MMAAA with a chance to get a live microphone, but unlike Cerrone, Kennedy will have a lot to say about his new association. If he gets on the mic and starts cutting a promo on the UFC about fighter pay, who is going to stop him? Rogan won’t, and good luck trying to silence a war hero without receiving a ton of backlash.
He’ll have a tough task to earn that live mic however, as Gastelum is going to be coming into this fight with something to prove. After failing to make weight yet again, Gastelum should realize at this point he is a middleweight fighter. A win over Kennedy would be an impressive debut in the division for him.
