Kyle VanCamp vs. Asef Askar
At Hoosier Fight Club 23 in 2015, Kyle VanCamp found himself the unwilling recipient of some drastic dental work in an amateur title fight against Asef Askar.
Just 2.06mins into the bout, Askar landed a perfectly placed kick to VanCamp’s grill that not only dropped him and brought a swift conclusion to the fight, but also sent no less than four of his teeth flying into the front row.
UFC Eddie Wineland was in attendance that night at cageside right where the incident took place and the veteran’s horrified reaction to what he’d just witnessed told it’s own story.
Despite that brutal loss VanCamp wasn’t discouraged and after several more years competing as an amateur he made his pro debut in 2018 and currently holds a 1-1 record.
