Head movement…HEAD MOVEMENT!!!
Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will go down in history for many reasons. Primarily, ‘Rowdy’ will mark the history books for being a truly dominant champion.
During her reign as champion, Rousey set the bar in women’s MMA. All of the talent in the female divisions have ‘Rowdy’ to thank. After two harrowing losses, Rousey’s career is essentially over, but one very dangerous element remains active.

When coach Edmond gets to work, it inevitably leads to a knockout. Unfortunately for his students, its those poor souls on the receiving end of the punishment. So widespread are the reports of Edmond’s terrible coaching, that there are even songs dedicated to him on Youtube.
With Ronda Rousey now out of the game, and pretty much everyone else bailing on him, only Travis Browne remains representing Glendale fight club in the UFC. During UFC 200, Browne faced former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
Browe lost rather miserably, and here is a newly released video showing exactly what Coach Edmond was telling ‘Hapa.’
Oh Dear…
With Rousey and Browne recently announcing their engagement, it’s likely poor coach Edmond Tarverdyan will run out of fighters careers to sabotage. Alas, he may have to go back to fraud and other miscellaneous dealings to make a living.
UFC 207 Transcript
OK, we’d be remiss to talk this long about coach Edmond without airing his dirtiest fighting laundry to date. Here’s what the doomed Ronda Rousey was told as coach Edmond and the UFC brass fed her to a hungry Brazilian lioness:
Tarverdyan: Make her miss, miss, miss! Ronda, make her miss!
Second cornerman: Be patient. Pick your moments
Fight starts. Tarverdyan: Head movement! Head movement! Head movement! Head movement! Head movement! Head movement! Head movement!
Tarverdyan: Yes, move!
Rousey is already taking a few punches at this point, unable to properly defend. She continues to take damage as the following takes place.
Tarverdyan: Hands up! Hands up! Hands up! Catch her! Clinch! Second cornerman: Get to the head!
Rousey is unable to get the clinch, starts taking worse damage as Nunes lands some power shots.
Tarverdyan: Head movement! Good job! Jab!
Rousey is unable to establish the jab or fight back. She takes a defensive position with a high guard on her left side as she continues to take more punishment.
Tarverdyan: Move, move! Come on, please!
Rousey starts to move to her left as more shots keep coming.
Tarverdyan: Move, move, move! Clinch, clinch, clinch, clinch, clinch, clinch!!
Nunes finishes Rousey, makes the shushing sign as she walks triumphantly around the cage.
Tarverdyan: NO! NOOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOO!! NOOO!! NOOO!! NO! NO!!
Nunes makes her way to Tarverdyan and says a few things before popping her head out of the cage to say a few more bon mots. Edmond remains quiet during this part.
Tarverdyan: (as Amanda walks away) Move, (unintelligible)… move! Fuck!
