1. Ronda’s Motivation

Ronda Rousey already has one foot in Hollywood, her motivation is not where it needs to be for her to be competitive against Nunes. Ronda got where she is by having a bulldog mentality and going straight at her opponents. But now that fighting isn’t all that Ronda is thinking about, how is she going to do?

Many have stated they believe that Ronda will retire if she loses to Nunes, and is simply fighting again at UFC 207 to cash one more check. Leaving the sport altogether is also how Ronda handled defeat in the Olympics as well.

Ronda is the genesis of women in the UFC, without her there is no telling if women’s divisions would have been given that chance. There is nothing left for Ronda to achieve, which is probably why she is looking to do other things.
