Take nothing away from Ronda Rousey, but her career might be just about over. In fact it could easily end at UFC 207 after being defeated by Amanda Nunes. Rousey revealed on “the Ellen” show recently that she is “wrapping up” her career, adding that “the show isn’t going to be around forever”.

Women’s mixed martial arts is in a period of transition. The pioneering class appears to be on their way out, with both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate heading into their post-fight careers shortly.

At UFC 205 Amanda Nunes could solidify herself as the next fighter to dominate the 135lbs division, ending Rousey’s career in the process.

Here are 5 reasons Amanda Nunes destroys Ronda Rousey…

5. Rousey’s Repaired Jaw

Ronda Rousey didn’t just lose to Holly Holm, she got messed up. It wasn’t as if she got caught in a submission or out-wrestled, she had her jaw broken by a world class striker. Some fighters never fully come back from a loss like that.

How is Rousey going to react the first time Nunes touches her? You can bet that Rousey is not interested in receiving the same kind of beating from Amanda that she received from Holly. If Nunes tags her earlier, which she is good at doing, Rousey could easily panic.

As Miesha Tate found out at UFC 200, Amanda Nunes hits hard, and she’ll probably be aiming for Rousey’s chin.
