Joe Rogan may not be with the UFC much longer. The 49 year-old signed a 1 year contract extension with the company last summer, meaning unless a new deal has silently been struck Rogan could be gone in a few months.
Rogan has been a polarizing figure in the world of MMA since arriving in the UFC in 1997. While some believe him to be the greatest commentator in the sport’s history, he has more than his share of detractor’s as well.

Ken Shamrock
Ken Shamrock was not pleased with Joe Rogan’s assessment of his fight with Kimbo Slice at Bellator 138. The much maligned card took place during the promotion’s unfortunate “legend fights” phase, which usually involved a fighter over 50.
Slice vs. Shamrock was not a classic. Shamrock took him down early but wasn’t able to do anything with him on the ground. Finally Slice got to his feet and punched Shamrock square in the face and the fight was over. Some said it looked fake, others said it was a bad fight between a guy in his 50s and a guy with no skill.
After Rogan claimed the fight might have been fixed, Shamrock was not pleased.
