Wrestling With Mark Coleman
The night before UFC 203, Rogan was being filmed hanging out backstage with former UFC heavyweight champion Mark Coleman when the two started engaging in some good natured horseplay.
At first Rogan seemed tentative about the idea of wrestling with ‘The Godfather Of Ground And Pound,’ but later on his podcast said, “Mark and I have been friends for a long time, so I was reasonably sure he wasn’t going to hurt me.”
With that in mind, Rogan suddenly arm-dragged the wrestler and took the back clinch, but that seemed to trigger ‘The Hammer,’ who turned, grabbed him by the throat and shoved him so hard that he went flying backwards into a wall.
“He picked me up like a pillow!” Rogan exclaimed. “Like I was a pillow and he spun me around in the air!
“…Dude, he’s so strong. I’ve never felt lighter. It was like gravity didn’t exist anymore!”
For his part, Coleman said, “I thought I just gave him a little chuck,” and when asked if they would ever fight each other he replied that he’d do it, but, “I don’t think [Rogan] wants one – size matters!”
