2. UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Cowboy
UFC Fight Night 83’s headline bout was between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira.
It didn’t take long for Cerrone to prove he was the more dominant cowboy of the two however, as he won via triangle choke midway through the first round. It did however, take referee Mario Yamasaki a long time to stop the fight after the Brazilian cowboy tapped.
Dana White took to Twitter, and even used emojis, to illustrate his discontent with the late stoppage after the tap:
