3. Antonio Silva – 7 T(KO)s in 11 UFC fights

Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva may not hold the record for the most knockout losses. But in terms of devastating losses strung in a row, he certainly stands out from the crowd. Silva’s UFC debut came against soon-to-be champion Cain Velasquez, who painted the canvas crimson with his blood en-route to a first-round TKO stoppage.

‘Bigfoot’ redeemed himself with a couple of big wins. At that point, the UFC puzzlingly booked him in a title fight against Velasquez, who this time only took 81 seconds to TKO him. To his credit, Silva somehow survived a five-round bloody war with Mark Hunt. But it took a major toll on his chin, and the Brazilian would lose five of his next six UFC fights by strikes.

This became increasingly hard to watch as a first-round knockout loss to Andrei Arlovski was followed by another against Frank Mir. A rematch with Hunt saw him TKO’d in the first five minutes, while Stefan Struve needed only 16 seconds to sleep him with elbows. Roy Nelson put the final nail in the coffin of his UFC career with another knockout loss.
