6. Jon Jones Fails Drug Test

Jon Jones is a guy who can’t help but get in his own way. While his career inside the octagon has been nearly perfect (aside from a DQ loss to Matt Hamill) his life outside of it has been anything but.

Jones had previously vacated the light heavyweight title due to the hit-and-run incident in 2015. Then, just before UFC 200, another low moment in his career/life; he failed a USADA test. Even worse, it would mean that he was pulled from the main event of what was once considered the most stacked card of all time.

Jones didn’t shy away from the media like some would afterwards however, he was right out there in front of the cameras. He would give a tearful apology while at the same time not admitting fault.
