8. Paige VanZant Ninja Kicks Bec Rawlings
Paige VanZant is not one of the top mixed martial artists in the world. But she’s pretty good, she’s committed to it and she’s so young that she has a lot of time to get better. Those are some of the reasons that Paige VanZant is as popular as she is. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that she is smoke-show gorgeous either.
VanZant closed out 2015 with a loss to “Thug” Rose Namajunas. She would then spend the early part of 2016 appearing on the TV show “Dancing With the Stars”. Paige made it all the way to the finals on the dance-competition reality show. Some questioned if VanZant would end up being picked up by the entertainment industry and taken away from MMA, as is what happened to Gina Carano. Although Carano getting mauled by Cyborg contributed to her exit from the sport as well.
VanZant put an end to those questions at UFC on Fox 21, when she ninja kicked Bec Rawlings in the face and beat her up. The internet loves Paige VanZant, and they loved this. Paige VanZant isn’t going Hollywood, she’s going to stay in the UFC where she can kick girls in the face some more.
