While this fight was originally scheduled to main event UFC 200, a rather public disagreement about media event scheduling led to it being pushed back to UFC 202. You could put this fight on the finale show for TUF season 71 for all it mattered, it would still be huge.
While Conor gassed again, he managed to stay calm this time and stick to his strategy. He earned a decision victory and avenged his loss. Next up is Madison Square Garden and the lightweight championship.
