6. Fallon Fox
Fallon Fox is a transgendered woman who has a 5W-1L record in professional MMA. The controversy surrounding her exists because she was born a man, but was licensed to fight against women by the California State Athletic Commission.
Many have been critical of Fox being licensed to compete in MMA against women, after having been born and gone through puberty as a man. The concern is that men grow bigger hands, bone density and a frame that is better suited towards combat sports. While Rogan conceded that Fox should be allowed to compete as a woman in non-combat sports, he felt that her having grown into a man’s body during her earlier life provided too much of an advantage for her over other female fighters, and that this could be dangerous.
While there were certainly those who agree with Rogan, he did find himself under fire from others who did not.
