Jessica Andrade vs. Rose Namajunas II
Khabib vs. Ferguson isn’t the only big fight under threat of not taking place at UFC 249 next month as the co-main event sees an intriguing rematch between former women’s featherweight titleholders Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas.
These two first fought at UFC 237 in May of last year and the champion at the time Namajunas appeared to get the better of the early action, only to then be KO’d by a big slam from Andrade.
Since then Andrade has gone on to lose the belt after being TKO’d by Zhang Weili, while Namajunas is only now returning to action after having spent much of the past 12 months on the sidelines, so it would be disappointing if there was to be a lengthy delay that would extend that period of inaction even further.
