3. Sokoudjou
The absolutely amazing thing I discovered while researching this article is that Sokoudjou is only 32 years old. There is still time left for Sokoudjou!
An intimidating looking kickboxer from Cameroon, Sokoudjou came into the UFC after winning 2 straight in Pride, so expectations were high. Expectations continued to be high even after he lost his first bout in UFC to Lyoto Machida. But then he lost again to Luiz Cane and ended up signing with Affliction.
He lost to Renato Sobral in Affliction, and kept losing for other promotions until DREAM finally figured out they better put him in there against somebody like Bob Sapp if they wanted him to look good.
He’s still fighting however, having most recently knocked out Matt Hamill in a Venator FC event in Italy.
