Jean Claude Van Damme’s kickboxing record stands at 18-1 wit all 18 wins by knockout, and an amateur record of 44-4. To say he learned his moves during his time at ballet school is just pure rubbish.
To further back up this evidence log, here’s some actual footage of some of Van Damme’s professional and amateur bouts.
If that wasn’t enough of a fix for you Jean Claude Van Damme fans, here’s a trip down memory lane with ‘The Muscles From Brussels.’ Some cool old school photos and clips of JCVD training.Watch on the Youtube player below and thanks for reading!
You’re so dead wrong to say that the ballet was not true. I have his actual autobiography (came out around the first Universal Soldier movie) and it’s in there. Next to his Karate he took ballet classes! You train other muscles and also the stretching of muscles was an advantage for his martial arts.
This shit is weak. Those kicks are lame. A real fighter would have smashed him.
