Phillipe Nover is best remembered as the runner-up in season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter, where he fainted after a weight cut. ‘Fainting Philips’ is now retired but was a respected fighter, competing for both the UFC and Bellator throughout his career. But he wasn’t just a trained lethal weapon. Nope, he was also trained to save lives.
Nover qualified as a nurse from SUNY Downside Medical Centre and continued to work as a healthcare professional all throughout his MMA career. He’s still a registered nurse in a hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Respect.
