BJ Penn
UFC hall-of-famer BJ Penn was out partying at the Femme Nu strip club in Honolulu back in April when he was asked to leave the club by security staff because he was, “very drunk.”
The 40-year-old former two-division champion didn’t take kindly to being escorted from the premises however and so got into a fight with one of the bouncers outside.
Despite the bouncer being much larger than Penn, he was no match for the UFC star’s skills and was quickly taken down, at which point video footage shows ‘The Prodigy’ pinning him to the concrete, even as someone else throws a few punches at him.
Dispatch audio from that night hears police being told, “BJ Penn is back there trying to fight everybody. No weapon,” but by the time they arrived on the scene he was gone, and since the bouncer didn’t press charges, Penn was never arrested.
After the story broke fans joked that Penn, who had lost his 7th fight in a row in the UFC a month earlier, was finally back in the win column after the strip club scuffle.
