6. Chris Leben vs. Uriah Hall UFC 168

This was Leben’s final MMA fight at just 33 years old.

Leben’s popularity throughout the years had come from his willingness to take vicious shots but keep coming forward. By the time he took on Uriah Hall at UFC 168 however, he had become a shell of his former self.

Hall beat up Leben good in the first round, so much so that Leben couldn’t answer the bell for the second. The guy who always came forward retired on his stool. When Leben attempted to make a comeback with Bellator recently, it was discovered that his heart was in an incredibly weakened state, and may even require a transplant someday. Perhaps Leben’s heart was starting to weaken back at UFC 168 as well, impacting his ability to be competitive.
