3. Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier II
Once the UFC 200 main event, Jones vs. Cormier II, will most likely come to be sometime in 2017.
If Jones is not looking at a 2 year suspension, as now appears not to be the case, he will be back sometime in 2017 if not sooner. That leaves the door wide open for his second fight with Cormier, and while this time it won’t have the UFC 200 name to piggy back off of, the feud itself will be more marketable because of how visible the two fighters were during the build up to UFC 200.
If Jon Jones is not able to shake off the cage rust that he demonstrated against OSP, we could easily see Cormier shock the world in this fight too.
