James Warfield Vs Kyle Baker
In 2010 Shine Fights held a one-night lightweight grand-prix, but whoever assembled the ring that night did a terrible job of tightening up the ropes, which resulted in some disastrous moments as the tournament went on.
Never was that more apparent than in the opening round fight between James Warfield and Kyle Baker.
During the action Warfield backed Baker up with punches and then launched into a flying knee.
However, Baker simply moved out of the way and Warfield’s momentum sent him rocketing over the ropes and then crashing down onto the commentary booth below.
Thankfully he wasn’t injured and the fight was allowed to continue, but Baker would go on to lose by split decision.
