Jarred Brooks vs. Jose Torres

Mid-way through his third UFC fight, Jarred Brooks was probably feeling pretty good about his chances of winning against Jose Torres.

After all, he’d easily won the first round and seemed to be in control in the second as he confidently hoisted Torres up onto his shoulder.

However, then Brooks became overly ambitious.

Instead of just doing a typical slam, he decided to carry Torres part way across the Octagon, then jump up into the air and fall backwards, intending to send his full body weight crashing down onto his opponent.

However, the landing proved to be far worse for him than Torres as he slammed the back of his own head onto the canvas, knocking himself out in the process.
