Ian McCall vs. Rob Emerson
Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall’s friendship with Rob Emerson came to an abrupt end when he posted on social media (and then quickly deleted) that he had caught him sleeping with his wife at the time, and that he’d done the same thing to other people.
However, Emerson has since denied that anything happened and claimed it was all just a misunderstanding.
“When that incident happened I was actually going to hang out with her friend,” Emerson claimed on BJPenn.com. “Her friend texted me so I went and hung out with her. Her friend left and as I was getting ready to leave, I had my backpack on and I was ready to leave, and I guess Ian came home from practice. At this point they were already legally separated and Ian wasn’t even living there.
“Ian came home from practice and saw me there, it was really awkward. I probably shouldn’t have been there in the first place.”
Bad blood has continued to simmer between the two ex-UFC fighters though, with Emerson even going as far as to “hold him indirectly responsible” for the death of another of their teammates Shane del Rosario, who had cocaine and opiates in his system prior to suffering two heart attacks.
