Alex Schoenauer
Alex Schoenauer was a cast member on the very first season of The Ultimate Fighter, but came up against Forrest Griffin in the elimination round and lost by TKO, then suffered a quick KO loss to Mike Swick in his one and only official fight in the Octagon.
Nevertheless, Schoenauer would go on to fight for several more years, including multiple bouts in the IFL promotion, before retiring in 2009 and then moving on to become a stuntman.
Schoenauer’s first break came as an uncredited stunt rigger on the set of Fast & Furious 5, while he’d perform stunts himself on other movies like End Of Watch, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Star Trek Beyond in the years that followed.
In 2018, Schoenauer hit the headlines after he was accidentally shot with a live round during an audition for CBS’s ‘Seal Team’ show, hitting him in the upper back and exiting through his upper arm and shoulder region.
He sued the company involved, JMP Promotions, but continues to work in the business and performs stunts for the upcoming movie, A Quiet Place Part II.
